Our District 28
American Legion District 28 represents and supports local American Legion Posts throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties. We work together to serve veterans, active-duty military personnel, their families, and the communities we call home.
Guided by the principles of The American Legion, District 28 promotes veterans’ advocacy, Americanism, youth development, community service, and remembrance. By connecting our local Posts and coordinating districtwide programs, meetings, and events, we help strengthen the Legion’s mission across California’s Central Coast.
We are committed to honoring those who served, supporting those who continue to serve, and ensuring that future generations understand the value of service, citizenship, and sacrifice.
